Build with Mizu

Mizu is modular and efficiency driven.
We build to solve:
Liquidity Fragmentation: Liquidity is isolated across various EVM, non-EVM and altVM chains, leading to inefficient capital utilization. Users frequently move their liquidity between chains to take advantage of new incentives, which exacerbates the fragmentation problem and hinders the growth of decentralized finance ecosystems. Mizu enables access to liquidity across all chains, eliminating the inefficiencies caused by isolated ecosystems.
Capital Inefficiency: The constant migration of liquidity across different platforms creates significant inefficiencies in the movement of capital. Users must lock and unlock their assets repeatedly, which leads to a suboptimal flow of liquidity and the fragmentation of capital that could be more efficiently used. By enabling assets to remain active across chains through its Shadow Token Standard, Mizu ensures maximum capital utilization.
Limitted access to capital: dApps and other DeFi services often only have secondary access to liquidity or must pay hand over fist. This means they are fragile and dependent on liquidity that moves from chain to chain rather than having direct control over it.
Yield Disparities: Assets, even when they are similar, often generate different yields on different chains. For example, ETH on Ethereum might generate a different yield than bridged ETH on Arbitrum. These disparities lead to inconsistencies in user experiences and inefficiencies in the allocation of capital. Mizu standardizes yield generation by dynamically allocating liquidity to the most profitable opportunities across blockchains.
Security Optimization: In the current DeFi landscape, when assets like ETH leave their native chain (such as Ethereum), they no longer contribute to the security of that chain. For instance, ETH used in staking on Ethereum cannot also be used to generate liquidity on other chains, which results in potential security inefficiencies. Shadow Tokens and MoveVM's solve this by directly enabling economic value and utility to transfer with cross-chain settlement and liquidity management.
